Benefits

Eligible employees at Terracon are provided a wide range of benefits. A number of the programs (such as Canada Pension Plan, Workers' compensation and Employment insurance) cover all employees in the manner prescribed by law.

Terracon recognizes that the escalating housing costs in Fort McMurray and Calgary have an impact on the current living conditions of its staff.  Our current position allows us to provide a monthly allowance to each Fort McMurray based employee, except those who are being provided company supplied or camp accommodations, and for Calgary based employees.  This monthly allowance was effective April 1, 2007, and is considered to be a transient supplement.  The allowance will be processed with your regular month end payroll.

Benefits eligibility is common to all employees after three months of employment at Terracon. Details of many of these programs can be found elsewhere in the employee handbook.

Some benefit programs require contributions from the employee, but most are fully paid by Terracon.
