Terracon and our employees have always believed in being part of, and giving back to, the communities in which we live and work. This December our employees seized the opportunity to help a local charity in Fort McMurray. Through a 50/50 draw and donations the employees raised over $1,000 as well as various toys and canned goods for Santa’s Anonymous. Santa’s Anonymous is a community charity run by the students of Father Mercredi High School in Fort McMurray, Alberta. The goal of the charity is to provide each family in need with a traditional Christmas dinner and toys for each child. Support for infants and seniors is also available when indicated by the family. In it’s 30th year of operation, Santa’s Anonymous has helped more than 15,000 families and in excess of 51,000 people have a very merry Christmas.
Terracon is proud to help support such a worthy cause and would like to wish everyone a safe and happy holiday season!
